MONTVILLE, NJ – The Montville Township Committee met on March 14, and Patrolman Michael Rhodes, Jr. was sworn into the Montville Township Police Department.

Michael Rhodes Jr. was born and raised in Clifton, according to Police Chief Andrew Caggiano. In 2016, he began working as a corrections officer for the Passaic County Sheriff's Office.

In January 2022, Officer Rhodes moved to Montville Township.

In June 2022, Michael was hired by the Clifton Police Department. He attended the Passaic County Police Academy and graduated in October 2022. He completed the Clifton Police Department’s field training program.

The Montville Township Police Department hired him on March 1, 2023. He is currently assigned to the Patrol Division.
