The shows will take place in the high school auditorium at 1 Bryant Drive, Succasunna. Performances start at 7 p.m. with an additional matinée show on Feb. 18 at 1 p.m.

Into the Woods, a musical play by Stephen Sondheim and James Lapine, combines elements of several Grimm fairy tales, including "Cinderella," "Little Red Riding Hood," "Jack and the Beanstalk" and "Rapunzel." A baker and his wife, trying to reverse a curse placed on them by a witch, go into the woods.where they meet characters from the various fairy tales.

The play explores themes of wishes and consequences and ends with a dark twist.
