It is the leading provider of these services in New Jersey serving over 1,000 children since its founding in 2004. Good Grief is a registered 501(c) (3) tax-exempt non-profit organization whose mission is to provide unlimited free support to children, teens, and families after the death of a parent or sibling. Meet the CEO
Morristown and Princeton, NJ – Good Grief announced today that Theresa Shubeck will join the bereavement charity as its next Chief Executive Offer effective December 1, 2021.

Shubeck joins Good Grief with a wealth of experience helping nonprofit organizations advance their missions, develop, and execute strategies, raise critical funds, and train leaders.
Shubeck has spent 25 years with philanthropic consulting firm Ruotolo Associates most recently as Executive Vice President responsible for firm-wide client services. In this role, she has advised and worked closely with a diverse group of social service, education, healthcare, faith-based and arts organizations. Earlier, Shubeck served in development and alumni relations roles with Drew University for more than a decade and subsequently led development for a private school in New York City.
