The closure commenced around 11 a.m. today, April 19, as crews began replacing a critical drainage pipe. To facilitate local residents and manage traffic flow, specific detour routes have been established and are expected to remain in effect through Saturday afternoon.

Northbound Detour for Route 202:

  • Southbound traffic will turn left onto Sand Spring Road, right onto Blue Mill Road, and right onto Glen Alpin Road/CR 646 to return to Route 202.

The Department of Transportation (DOT) advises that the timing of the repairs may shift due to weather conditions or other unforeseen factors. Motorists planning to travel through this area are urged to allow extra time and check NJDOT’s traffic information website, www.511nj.org, for real-time updates and construction-related traffic conditions.
