MORRISTOWN, NJ - The Morristown boys tennis team shut out Mount Olive 5-0 on Thursday afternoon. The Colonials are now 3-1 on the season.
In 1st Singles Morristown's Charlie Beyer defeated Rishon Pudota 6-1, 6-1. In 2nd singles Alper Kumlu defeated Mount Olive's Joaquin Villarreal 6-3, 6-3 and in 3rd singles Shriram Vasudevan defeated Johan Chacko 6-0,6-1.
In doubles, Morristown's team of Jonah de Vries and Jackson Starcher defeated Ricci Granberg and Kevin Karram 6-3, 6-1. Morristown team of Aidan Orbeta and Maxwell Rasmussen defeated Thomaz Honda and Yeriel Sastre De Jesus; 6-3, 6-1
The Colonials will be back in action on April 23 against Morris Knolls. Game time is 4pm.
